I hope you are all well at this time.
Please find a letter explaining what is happening with our primary schools within our cluster or group of schools (CSP). This can be found in the Class links below, PDF Letter to Parents, hub schools. In brief it explains what you need to do if you are a Key Worker and need child care; this should only be if you absolutely need it, we all know that it is important to stay at home unless absolutely necessary and other arrangements cannot be made.
It is great to see many of you using the resources which are linked to our website. You can keep in touch with teachers via the email address (can be found in your child's class file) if you have any questions or you want to share what your children have been doing. It is impossible to mark children's work, however, it will be a great way to share, and for children to see what their friends have been up to, as well as to get some ideas for yourself whilst you are all at home.
A tip, you are probably already doing this, is to have a set routine (although, PE with Joe wicks online is a great idea, which I know many of you are already doing). This should not mean doing math, science, writing and so on at set times, it should just be a guide for you. Other than reading, it does not matter if your child misses a couple of other sessions, as long as they are entertained: Arts and crafts, learning a new skill such as knitting or a new language for example. Baking and cooking is a great way to get maths in; measuring and weighing ingredients. It can be a time for you to learn a new skill as a family.
If you have any questions please do get in touch, email is the easiest method.
Please stay safe and take care
